i've noticed that in some of your pieces the shadows feel a bit off, and this one's a good example: with the angle of the shadow of the craft on the ground, it looks like the sunlight should be hitting the inside a little more... or else the ground shadow should be more directly underneath the craft.
i'm only pointing this out because every other aspect of your work (colour, composition, shading, highlights, texture, structure) is astounding .
feel free to ignore the criticism if you think it's invalid.
This is an absolutely amazing piece. I really like the design of the skiff and the attitude of the kid piloting it. Really great work.
If you don't mind my saying so, it reminds me greatly of a character of my own in a setting called Wasteland Paradise. I'd love to favourite this deviation to my club as a spiritual example of the setting, so to speak.
